Kareri Lake below the Dhauladhar

Kareri Lake Trek

A high-altitude freshwater lake fed by Dhauladhar snowmelt, reached by a beautiful forest and river trail.

Kareri Lake lies at around 3,000 m below the Dhauladhar ridges. The trek follows a river valley through forests and meadows, usually with an overnight stay near the lake.

Best done from May to June and September to October. We recommend going with a local guide.
